FM spokesman: Iran's nuclear stance irrevocable
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Oct 14, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast on Sunday stressed that Iran’s stance on its absolute nuclear rights is irrevocable.
Mehmanparast said Iran’s policy of pursuing its legal rights to make use of nuclear technology for peaceful purposes is explicit and transparent.
He said Iran’s peaceful nuclear program falls within framework of international laws and regulations and under constant supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
To prove its good will, said Mehmanparast, Iran has thus far acted beyond its commitments enshrined in the IAEA regulations.
He said Iran welcomes purposeful talks and constructive and bilateral engagement with the G5+1 and the IAEA.
