IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Oct 10, IRNA -- A senior commander said the terrorist Mojahedeen-e Khalq Organization (MKO) has no place not only in Iraq but also among the world nations.
Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri, Deputy Chief of Joint Staff of Iran's Armed Forces in charge of Basij (volunteer forces) and defense culture, made the remarks in an exclusive interview with IRNA.
Jazayeri criticized steps taken by Washington and its allies to remove the MKO from the list of terrorist groups and organizations.
By such a move, they are trying to pave the way for their psychological acceptance by world nations, added the commander.
In addition, he said, the US is to trying to make use of the MKO members to take actions against the Islamic Republic's national interests.
Jazayeri reiterated that the terrorist MKO has served foreign intelligence services, particularly those of the global arrogance and the Zionist regime in the past three decades.
