Iran has not put forward nine-step proposal to G5+1
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Oct 6, IRNA -- Iran has not put forward nine-step proposal to Group 5+1, Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said on Saturday.
He made the remarks to a meeting of Expediency Council.
Jalili said Iran has never delivered any new proposal other than what has been put forward in the current of G5+1 talks on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly, therefore some US media reports are baseless.
Meanwhile, Jalili presented a report about the latest developments in the process of Iran and G5+1 nuclear talks.
The New York Times reporter David E. Sanger on Thursday October 4 claimed that Iranian officials have begun to describe what they call a “nine-step plan” to defuse the nuclear crisis with the West by gradually suspending the production of the uranium that would be easiest for them to convert into a nuclear weapon.
