Foreign Ministry rejects statements attributed to its spokesman on Canada

Tehran, Sept 10, IRNA -- Media Diplomacy Department of Foreign Ministry on Monday dismissed some statements attributed to its spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast about countries following Canada.
In an email to IRNA, the ministry said such reflection of Mehmanparast's statemensts emanates from their inaccurate understanding of what he said.
In continuation of its pro-Zionism and anti Iran policies, the Canadian government on Friday closed its embassy in Tehran.
Foreign ministry in a reaction to such a move announced that it would not let the act go unanswered.
