IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, July 22, IRNA -- Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said here on Sunday that the Iranian nation will never yield to the pressures of foreign enemies.
The foreign minister made the remark while addressing a commemoration ceremony held on the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the nuclear scientist Dariush Rezaienezhad.
He said the Iranians have in the past 33 years proved that they well resisted the sanctions imposed by the enemies.
Salehi said enemies were exerting so much pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran because the nation is willing to retain its independence.
He said contrary to what enemies think that pressures will make the Iranian nation bow, such acts will only strengthen their resolution to walk in the path of progress and greater achievements.
Salehi further stressed that the passing of each single multiplies the resistance and achievements of the Iranian nation.
