Mehmanparast: Iran-G5+1 next meeting depends on outcome of Istanbul talks

Tehran, July 17, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ramin Mehmanparast said here Tuesday if the upcoming meeting of deputy nuclear negotiators of Iran and the 5+1 witnesses a fruitful outcome in Istanbul, the venue and date of next negotiations will be decided.
Talking to reporters during his weekly press briefing, Mehmanparast added that Helga Schmid, deputy of EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton and Deputy Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Ali Bagheri will hold talks in Istanbul on July 24.
According to the agreement reached in Moscow, technical experts of Iran and Group 5+1 (five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) are to meet first, he added.
Mehmanparast added that before holding final negotiations, a contact will be made between SNSC Secretary Saeed Jalili and Ms Ashton.
