Velayati: G5+1 has to take practical steps to recognize Iran’s rights
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, May 29, IRNA -- Advisor for the Supreme Leader for International Affairs Ali Akbar Velayati said that Group 5+1 should recognize Iran’s rights to nuclear technology in practice.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a gathering on the Middle East developments and the future of the regional order on Tuesday, he said though the negotiating parties said in Baghdad they believe in dialogue with Iran, they had no tangible and clear-cut plan to get better results from the dialogue.
This was despite the fact that Iran took part in the talks with a well-defined and clear program, he added.
Velayati said G5+1 had better take part in the Baghdad talks after a consensus among themselves.
He advised representatives of the sextet to consult with one another before the upcoming Moscow talks on June 8-9 to get better results.
