Zionist daily: Hezbollah to invade us, if Israel attacks Iran

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Beirut, May 17, IRNA -- A Zionist daily expressed worries Wednesday lest Lebanese Hezbollah would target sensitive spots in Israel in case Tel Aviv would dare to invade the Iranian nuclear facilities.

According to an IRNA report from Beirut, The Zionist daily Yediot Ahronet has in its Wednesday evening issue quoted a high ranking official of that regime as saying, “If Israel would launch an air raid against the Iranian nuclear sites Hezbollah would issue an order for launching missile attacks against Israel by its own forces.”

Another Zionist daily, Haaretz, too, referring to the nuclear activities of Iran wrote, “Although the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) believes there are still suspicions regarding the Iran nuclear program, but the UN nuclear watchdog has still not openly accused Tehran of having a military nuclear program.”

Referring to the ongoing nuclear talks between Iran and the agency in Vienna, this daily has emphasized, “In these talks ways for solving the remaining ambiguities about Iran’s nuclear program have been discusses and these talks are a prelude for the later negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 negotiations in Baghdad.”

Haaretz added, “In these talks emphasis has been made over the need to dispatch international inspectors to monitor the Iranian nuclear sites and that the basis for Iran’s cooperation with the agency would be the nuclear NPT, while stressing the need for refraining from production and proliferation of nuclear weapons in the Middle East region.”

Talks between the UN atomic agency and Iran saw a 'good exchange of views' and will resume on Monday, two days before world powers meet Tehran representatives in Baghdad, the watchdog's chief inspector said.

'During these two days we discussed a number of options to take the agency verification process forward in a structured way,' Hermann Nackaerts said Tuesday in a joint statement to journalists with Iran's Ambassador Ali-Asghar Soltaniyeh.

'We had a good exchange of views and we will meet again on Monday,' he said.

Soltaniyeh said: 'We had fruitful discussions in a very conducive environment. We have made progress on this issue regarding preparing and negotiating the modality framework for resolving our outstanding issues.'

Neither gave further details, including on whether International Atomic Energy Agency access to the Parchin military site was discussed at the talks at Iran's embassy in Vienna.

The Vienna talks were being closely watched for signs of whether the Iranians might make substantial concessions on May 23 in their talks in Baghdad with P5+1 powers -- the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany.

Greater cooperation with the IAEA is a key area where the P5+1 would like to see the Iranians becoming more accommodating in order to better verify Tehran's assertion that its nuclear program is entirely peaceful.

The Zionist officials, along with the MKO terrorist organization have kept on sending wrong signals regarding Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, encouraging the world powers to oppose it, and intriguing the in the course of any talks aimed at solving the long lingering issue.

The Zionist officials, have even gone as far as many times threatening to invade the air space of the Islamic Republic of Iran and attack Iran’s peaceful nuclear sites, although it is them that posies over 200 nuclear warheads in the sensitive Middle East region and not Iran, with its peaceful nuclear program.

Yet, the point to be well pondered by the Zionists is the size of their usurped lands, as well as their military capabilities, which has in recent past been twice humiliate, once by the Lebanese Hezbollah and another time by the Gazan brave residents.

In latest reaction by a top Iranian official, the Islamic Republic of Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reminded the Zionist officials that they had better keep in mind their country is no more than a weak mosquito for us, just in case they have any ill intentions in Mind regarding Iran.
