Tehran, May 8, IRNA -- Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ramin Mehmanparast said on Tuesday that the upcoming nuclear talks between Iran and the G5+1 are aimed at setting framework for bilateral cooperation.
Talking to reporters at his weekly press conference, Mehmanparast stressed that measures should be taken to fulfill Iran's rights and respond to any probable questions regarding Iran's peaceful nuclear activities.
The Group 5+1 includes the US, Britain, France, China and Russia plus Germany.
On parliamentary elections in Syria, Mehmanparast said it is the second step towards implementing nationwide reforms in that country.
He then called on the regional and extra-regional countries to support the plan proposed by the UN special envoy to Syria, Kofi Annan, and let the reforms be made in a peaceful atmosphere.
