Tehran, May 6, IRNA -- Commander of Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmaili on Sunday advised extra-regional forces not to do anything against Iran given the fact that they have already witnessed the consequences of their interference.
The commander made the remark in reaction to the deployment of a squadron of the US F-22 combat jets in the region.
He told IRNA that the foreign forces saw what happened to the unmanned RQ-170 drone and they should have taken a lesson from from it.
The commander further said the Islamic Republic of Iran has turned sanctions imposed on it over the past 33 years into opportunities.
He added that Iran attaches no importance to the threats made by the Zionist regime against the country.
He underlined that the Islamic Iran has never sought to conquer any country, but always defends its territorial integrity.
