TEHRAN (ISNA) - Iranian ambassador to Italy Mohammad Ali Hosseini said talks with P5+1 should be resumed in a climate free of political tensions, propaganda and precondition.

Hosseini noted negotiations with the P5+1 should be resumed free from political tensions. Nations' legitimate and legal rights should be respected by all sides during talks, he added.

Pressing ahead with the nuclear program is a public decision and national sensuous, he said, adding all Iranian people are united on the issue and international community has recognized it.

Hosseini referred to European countries' decision on imposing unjust and unilateral sanctions against Iran and the outcomes, saying the European Union's confrontational policy is an illogical and inefficient policy whose outcome would go against the nations' interests.

Those countries imposing sanctions should be held accountable for the results, the Iranian diplomat continued.

Hosseini stressed Iran can easily substitute other countries for Europe to sell oil and it would not wait for the implementation of sanctions.

Iran stresses negotiation and cooperation strategy with Europe and believes it to be the only solution to overcome the recent problems, he said.

The envoy pointed out, "We are committed to supply the world particularly European nations with energy providing that western countries avoid taking incorrect approaches that target Iranian nations' interests."
