Iran forces are ready to defend air space: Military official

TEHRAN (ISNA) - Deputy Commander of the Islamic Republic Army's Air Force for Coordination Affairs Brigadier General Azizollah Nasirzadeh said the forces are ready to defend Iran's borders particularly its air space.
General Nasirzadeh referred to threats against Iran, noting enemies of Iran do not possess the capability to carry out their threats since readiness of the forces is clear for them.
Nasirzadeh told ISNA the U.S. President's recent remarks that Zionist regime does not aim to launch attack against Iran bears no significance for Iranian nation since, "We have never taken their threats seriously."
He referred to some measures taken by Iran's armed forces in aviation field including the control of the U.S. drone, adding, "Our condition in aviation field particularly aerial defense is completely appropriate, and we are ready to defend our air space."
