TEHRAN (ISNA) - Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ground Forces Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour said the forces' military maneuver holds the message of friendship for friendly countries and says enemies to act "wisely."
He said Sunday all elements of doctrine of commando and airborne tactical combat were employed in the military maneuver wrapped up on Sunday. All defense and invasive operations including defense operations, attacking on the enemy's armored and mechanized columns, night operations, heliborne and anti-heliborne exercises as well as parachute operations were practiced well in the war game.
"Our message in the drill is peace and friendship for our neighbors. The exercise also says the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran to act wisely," he said.
He reiterated that Iran would give a "tough and crushing" response to any threat and aggression.
The military maneuver started on Saturday.
