Iran blames Zionist regime for scientist assassination

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iranian Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi blamed Zionist regime for assassination of Iranian scientist in a bomb blast Wednesday.
"Enemies of Iranian nation should know that they cannot hinder progress of Islamic Republic of Iran in different scientific domains," he said Wednesday in cabinet meeting.
Rahimi said the terrorist attack came by agents of Arrogance, Zionist regime and those who claim are advocates of fighting terrorism.
The Iranian scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan was killed by a bomb placed on his car on Wednesday.
Roshan, 32, was inside his car with two others passers-by when the bomb exploded north Tehran.
Also Iranian prestigious Sharif Poly-Technique University issued a statement transferring condolences to Iranian nation over the tragic event.
Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, was a chemical engineering graduate of Iran's prominent Sharif University of Technology and served as marketing deputy of Iran's Natanz nuclear installation, the statement read.
A similar bomb explosion on January 12, 2010 killed Tehran University professor Masoud Ali Mohammadi, a senior physics professor. He was killed when a bomb-rigged motorcycle exploded near his car as he was about to leave for work.
In November 2010, a pair of back-to-back bomb attacks in different parts of the capital killed Majid Shahriari and wounded Fereydoun Abbasi.
