TEHRAN (ISNA)-Real Admiral Ali Fadavi, naval commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) said the country's forces plan to stage new war game in the Strait of Hormuz.
The IRGC naval commander said the Islamic Republic of Iran's forces are so "mighty" that can observe even the smallest move in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf.
He assured that Iran's capabilities are in line with establishment of security for all countries, since security of other Muslim neighboring countries should be kept as well.
Fadavi continued the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps would hold "Great Prophet VII" in Persian Gulf late January or February.
On Saturday, December 24, Iran's Navy staged a massive 10-day naval exercise, covering an area stretching from the east of the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Aden.
Over the past years, Iran has gained considerable progresses in defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in manufacturing key military equipment and systems.
The country has repeatedly announced that its military might is merely based on defense doctrine and deterrence of any attack and poses no threat to other countries.
