Iran test fires ultra-advanced Noor missile successfully

Chahbahar, Jan 2, IRNA -- The Iranian naval forces on Monday test fired its ultra-advanced surface-to-surface Noor missile at the last phase of Velayat-90 military drill successfully.

Iranian naval vessel fired the missile which could trace and hit target successfully.

Noor missile an improved type of its older generation is an anti radar system with an ability of engaging in electronic warfare.

This morning, the Iranian Navy also test fired the long range ground-to-sea Ghader and short range Nasr missiles successfully.

These missiles are made domestically by Iranian experts with Iran's defense industry.

The ten-day Velayat-90 military drill started in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea in four phases December 24 and will end Tuesday.
