Iran warns of tough response to threats

TEHRAN (ISNA)-The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili warned Saturday the country would give harsh response to any threat.

The U.S. and Zioniste regime have always pose threats to Iran over its peaceful nuclear work.

Jalili made the remarks at the nationwide conference attended by Iranian ambassadors to foreign countries, where he reiterated the country would give harsh response to any threat.

He noted the power balance in the region is changing against the U.S. and Zionist regime.

Jalili stressed Iran enjoys the highest level of might, noting popular support and the opportunities came following regional and international developments resulted in the rise of the country's might.

He noted enemies are making attempt to hide Iran’s soft power and might, but the country’s might and power is growing increasingly.

Jalili stressed Iran's interactions with the world are based on initiative, logic and might.

Referring to further talks between Iran and 5-plus-1, he said Iran has officially told them to go back to the route of talks for cooperation.

Jalili also added, “Different massages from western countries show their internal disputes and problems."
