Iran launches navy drill in Strait of Hormuz

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran's Navy has launched massive drill dubbed “Velayat 90” on Saturday.
The drill covers 2,000 km stretching from the east of the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Aden.
The exercise which began Saturday is scheduled for 10 days and is to present the latest naval achivments
Iran has made important breakthroughs in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing important military systems over the past years.
Iran has repeatedly clarified that its military might is merely based on the nation's defense doctrine of deterrence and poses no threat to other countries.
