Iran police arrests protestors enter British embassy

TEHRAN (ISNA) - Iran's Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Radan said the country’s police forces have arrested protestors entered the British embassy.
Radan said, “The police are investigating the reason for the incident occurred before British embassy in Tehran Tuesday.”
He noted, "Some people gathered before British embassy and voiced slogans against the country and feelings of some others watching the march were hurt and entered the compound.”
“Some of the people entered the embassy have been arrested and some others have been recognized and that required actions have been taken for their arrest,” Radan noted.
He added,” The Head of Iran's Security Forces, Brigadier General Esmail Ahmadi Moghaddam was present in the embassy and announced that the embassy's officials should not be concerned about their safety.”
“We are investigating who gave them the permit to enter the embassy and that the arrested people would be handed to judicial authorities,” Radan continued.
Police site have announced that British embassy officials have hailed police forces’ actions on arresting the protestors.
