Ahvaz, Nov 26, IRNA -- Deputy Commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps for planning affairs Brigadier General Mohammad Tavallaei said on Saturday Iran’s deterrent power can thwart all US and Israeli threats.
He made the remark during a military parade in Ahvaz in southern province of Khuzestan where he said “No one doubts Iran’s defensive ability.”
“Iran’s military power and its ability to apply advanced weapon enable it to give a crushing response to any attacks in case enemies make such a mistake,” Tavallaei added.
Warning that US aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf will not be safe, he suggested that US authorities review Saddam’s destiny after attempting to conquer Iran within a week under support of the West and East.
He described enemies' threats as rhetorics and said those who got resolutions approved by the US Congress should know that Iranians will not retreat even a bit till victory.
Tavallaei reffered to Islamic Awakening in the Middle East and spread of anti capitalism movements in the US and Europe and said all these developments are inspired by the Islamic Revolution, its resistance and unique leadership.
