TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said Iran would change the way of its cooperation with IAEA.
As to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) recent report on Iranian nuclear work claiming there are possible military aspects in Iranian nuclear drive Larijani said Sunday morning, “Iran’s response to Zionist regime threats is very effective and powerful.”
Larijani addressing the IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano said, “Why have you called Zionist regime as a member of Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) when it is not? Is it not shameful for you and IAEA that Zionist regime says Amano’s report included the contents they have submitted the IAEA?”
“The report is so unfounded that different countries including Russia, China and Non-Aligned Members called it baseless and devastating, but we provided the IAEA with observations beyond the commitments," He added.
He said, “The Iranian parliament believes their action is just a hostile approach and is prepared based on the U.S. and Zionist regime’s views. The IAEA has proved that cooperation or non-cooperation with the agency would not affect their non-expert decisions.”
