TEHRAN (ISNA)-The Deputy Director for International Affairs for the Islamic Coalition Party (Motalafeh) Hamidreza Taraghi said the IAEA report is "politically-motivated" and "unjust."
Taraghi said, "The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) recent report on Iranian nuclear work claiming there are possible military aspects in Iranian nuclear drive is absolutely politicized, unjust and based on the U.S. secret policies against Iran.”
“The IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano has set out the report based on the U.S. views and pressures to press Iran politically for holding talks with it to make Iran change its position,” Taraghi told ISNA.
He continued, “There are so many technical and legal mistakes in the report that even the U.S. officials have announced the report shows their concerns. It proves Washington has been weakened and lost its position inside the region."
“The U.S. officials try to stop Occupy Wall Street movement in the country and also prevent the regional awaking.”
“They have focused on 20 percent enriched uranium being produced in Iran, but Iran has already announced it would continue producing uranium by 20 percent as far as the IAEA refuses to fulfill its commitments on providing Iran with the required fuel," Taraghi added.
He went on to say, “Western countries would follow their objectives regardless of Iran’s position. The report includes repetitious issues which were already presented in previous reports and it shows that the IAEA, the U.S. and western countries do not aim at resolving the issue. The best solution for Iran is to leave the IAEA and follow its way based on its national interests.”
