New Iranian destroyers to be displayed soon- commander

Tehran, Nov 8, IRNA -- Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said Tuesday that the country’s naval force is to display its new and more modern destroyers soon.

Speaking to IRNA, Sayyari said those destroyers will be well equipped with advanced systems.

“The successful design and construction of the Jamaran destroyer is the most important achievement gained by the country’s naval force,” Sayyari noted.

He further said the home-made Jamaran is now on mission to the international waters.

“And today we don’t need any foreign country (for our military equipment),” stressed the navy commander.
