Iran not giving up decision to send warships to Atlantic Ocean

Tehran, Nov 5, IRNA -- Minister of Defense Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said Saturday that Iran has not given up sending its warship fleet to the Atlantic Ocean and it would be made in due time.
Speaking to IRNA, the minister said that no exact time was fixed for the departure of the Iranian warship fleet “but it is among Tehran’s future plans which will be made in due time.”
Reports on sending the Iranian fleet to the Atlantic waters was originally announced by Commander of Iran’s Navy Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari.
The announcement aroused reactions of US officials.
