Naghdi: 85% of Pjak terrorists are non-Iranian

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Tehran, Sept 20, IRNA -- Commander of the Basij (volunteer forces) Brigadier-General Mohammad Reza Naghdi said on Tuesday 85 percent of Pjak terrorists are non-Iranian.

Talking to IRNA, Naghdi said that Pjak terrorists are the mercenaries hired from other countries to carry sabotage operations.

He said that Pjak base is located beyond the Iranian border, adding due to vigilance of the people of Kurdestan province of Iran, Pjak attempts for hiring the people have been failed.

Pjak failure to hire people from Kurdestan province of Iran indicates the true respect of people of Kurdestan province to the Islamic Republic of Iran bringing desperation for the United States, Naghdi added.

He said that Basij (volunteer forces) is a partner in the campaign against terrorism and that Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps have undertaken cleanup operations to finish off the terrorists.
