TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran said Tuesday the letter of top nuclear negotiator to Ashton involves no change in the country's view point on its nuclear plan.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said, "The EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton has sent a letter to Iranian top nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili. Jalili has replied the letter and the response is clear. We have already said we are ready for talks on shared points and no shift is made in our view points."
"We believe that a misunderstanding created for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) can be resolved in a positive and constructive climate. We continue nuclear activities in a peaceful framework and we think dialogues are helpful for constructive talks and we have expressed our readiness," he told reporters in his weekly press conference.
"We carry out our cooperation under the IAEA cooperation and observation. We believe our rights should be fully reserved."
