TEHRAN (ISNA) - Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) resumed operations against PJAK terrorist group after a one-month deadline.
IRGC launched new series of operation against PJAK terrorist group after the holy fasting month of Ramadan following the cell's refusal to withdraw forces from Iranian northwestern border districts.
The operation aims at cleaning the area endangered by the terrorist group and withdrawal of the PJAK terrorist cell out of the heights of Sardasht border town, in northwestern Iran.
The operations are said to continue until complete cleaning of the area of counter revolutionary forces, bandits and terrorist groups and establishment of security in the area.
