Iran air defense system ready to save country: Commander

Mashhad, Sept 1, IRNA -- Commander of northeastern Iran air defense System said on Thursday that the country’s air defense systems, including that of the northeastern country are at maximum preparedness for confronting any foreign threats.
'The country's air defense system is fully prepared to confront any threats by enemies,' Colonel Abdollah Reshadi told IRNA in an exclusive interview on the occasion of Air Defense System Day.
He pointed out that the state-of-the-art missile sites of the advanced air defense system record all movements of foreign troops in the region
“Our air defense system is capable of targeting any foreign aircraft trying to attack Iran or infiltrate Iranian airspace, even from a long distance,” Colonel Rashad said.
He pointed out that in view of the sensitivity of the matter and presence of foreign troops in neighboring Afghanistan and proposed location, Iran studied the integrated air defense system.
