TEHRAN (ISNA) - Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi expressed satisfaction over conditions of Bushehr nuclear power plant.

"Everything goes well in the plant. Steam was once injected to turbines of the nuclear site and required tests were conducted. We hope the plant will join the national grid soon," he told reporters on Sunday.

Also regarding possibility of appointment of British new ambassador to Iran and Tehran's reaction, he said, "we still enjoy ties with Britain and the new ambassador will start to work in Iran if he is installed. We will continue ties with the European country."

As to release of the two US nationals arrested following illegal entry into Iranian territory, he said, "we are in contact with Iranian Judiciary and God willing it will decide about their cases based on justice and fairness. We hope the cases would be closed as soon as possible."
