TEHRAN (ISNA) - The lawyer of the three American nationals charged with spying said on Wednesday the trail session postponed since the clients were not transferred to the courtroom from prison.

Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal, both aged 28, were arrested along with Sarah Shourd, 32, on the border between Iran and Iraq on July 31, 2009.

Shourd is being tried in absentia after she returned to the United States after being freed on humanitarian and medical grounds in September and paying bail of around 500,000 dollars.

"Another trial session is to be held since Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal were not transferred to the courtroom from jail whereas their cases were to be heard on Wednesday," Massoud Shafiei told ISNA.

He said this is the second time that the session is postponed due to this reason adding that prosecutor envoy, the judge and interpreter as well as himself appeared the court.

Also concerning Sarah Shourd appearance in the court, he said, "Shourd had given her medical certificate to me for her absence in the trial session. I was to submit the certificate to the court."

Shafiei said the time of the next session would be declared.

The Swiss embassy represents US interests in Tehran since Iran and the United States have not had diplomatic relations for more than three decades after the victory of Islamic Revolution.
