IAEA's report should be non-political: MP

Yazd, Feb 27, IRNA -- Member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said here on Sunday that International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) report should be non-political and totally legal.

Talking to IRNA, Mohammad Karim Abedi added that despite the fact that the agency has once again verified the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program, it has unfortunately mentioned some political issues in its report which are outside the authorities of the entity.

“The agency is expected to avoid political considerations,” he said.

Abedi, MP of Tabas, Yazd province, said that Iran has on several occasions proved that it is seeking nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
