Navy commander: Iranians can turn threats into opportunities

Bandar Abbas, Hormuzgan Province, Feb 23, IRNA -- Iran's Navy Commander said that presence of Iranian warships in the Suez Canal indicated that Iran can turn threats into opportunities.

Rear admiral Habibollah Sayyari, on the sidelines of a seminar dubbed as 'preventive medicine and marital sanitation' here on Tuesday afternoon said that Iran has always proved that, with guidance of the supreme leader and awareness and intelligence of young people, has reached self-confidence and presence of Iran's Navy flotilla in the Suez Canal is another proof.

He said Navy is ready to protect water borders of north and south of the country, adding that the ships dispatched to Oman Sea, Aden Gulf and west of India last week show Iranian Navy's high abilities.
