Supreme Leader orders pardoning, commuting of sentence of inmates

Tehran, February 14, IRNA -- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in a decree on Monday ordered pardoning and commuting of sentences of 661 prisoners convicted at general, revolutionary and military courts.

The Supreme Leader's decree to this effect came in response to a request by Judiciary Chielf Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
