Tehran, Feb 11, IRNA -- Information Minister Hojjatoleslam Heydar Moslehi said that the 1979 Islamic Revolution has influenced the vigilance of Muslims in the Middle East region.
Hojjatoleslam Moslehi made the remark at a rally held in Tehran on Friday on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
“The people of Egypt consider the nationwide rallies in Iran on February 11 as a kind of support for their popular uprising while at the same time considering them as sign of reaffirming the Islamic Republic system in Iran,” he added.
Hojjatoleslam Moslehi described the presence of Iranians on the February 11 rallies nationwide as 'massive', while pointing out that the 32nd anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution coincided with the awakening of the Muslim world and popular uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia.
