Mashaei: Recognizing Iran's nuclear rights, key to continuation of talks with G5+1

Tehran, Feb 5, IRNA -- Presidential Advisor and chief of staff Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei said on Saturday that recongnition of Iran’s nuclear rights will prepare grounds for continuation of talks with the western side on global developments.
Mashaei made the remark in a meeting with Italian Ambassador to Tehran Alberto Bradanini on Saturday.
“If the western countries had considered the interests of their own nations, they would have been able to lessen global challenges and help improve security of the world,” he said.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is on the verge of a scientific and technological breakthrough, he said, adding that the country has fully vindicated its nuclear rights and is to continue its path with more strength, he said.
The US is now faced with growing political, economic and security problems in the world, he said, adding that the US and its allies have no option but to admit Iran’s nuclear power which this will help the US resolve its problems in the region.
The Italian ambassador, for his part, highlighted cultural commonalities between Iran and Italy and said the Islamic Republic is the most important country in the region and Italy seeks to broaden ties and cooperation with the country.
