'Army well-prepared to suppress enemy aggression': Army commander

Tehran, Feb 5, IRNA -- Islamic Republic of Iran Army Commander Major-General Ataollah Salehi said on Saturday that the army is well-prepared to suppress any aggression by the enemies.
In a message on the occasion of Iran's Air Force Day, Major-General Salehi said that the entire army will cut the hands of all aggressors before they manage to attack Iran.
He said that the Iranian youth are making progress on a daily basis and Iran is becoming self-sufficient in nuclear, aerospace, health and military fields.
'This is while the enemies of Islam with their threats and sanctions are trying to confront the Iranian youth. It is token of the allegiance of the Iranian youth to the ideals of the founder of the Islamic Republic, late Imam Khomeini,' he added.
February 8 reminds the day in 1979 when staff of the Iranian Air Force voiced their loyalty to the Islamic Revolution.
