Pakistan condemns suicide attack in Iran

Islamabad, Dec 17, IRNA -- Pakistan on Friday strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack in the Iranian port city of Chabahar on December 15, that led to the martyrdom of 39 innocent persons and injuring more than 80, the Foreign Ministry said.
“The Government of Pakistan expresses its deepest sympathy and condolences with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the bereaved families,” the Ministry’s statement said.
“The perpetrators of this heinous crime are common enemies of both Iran and Pakistan,” it said.
Reaffirming its close brotherly ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan expressed its resolve and commitment to continue to cooperate closely with Iran to defeat the menace of terrorism.
