Mehmanparast: G5+1 should create a constructive atmosphere

Tehran, Dec 7, IRNA -- Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Tuesday that the G5+1 should change course of action and adopt a positive stand to help create a constructive atmosphere for continued talks on common concerns of the two parties.
He made the remarks here Tuesday in his weekly press briefing for domestic and foreign reporters.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has entered this round of talks with constructive and positive approach and it is expected the other party (G5+1) to pursue the same policy, he said.
“We hope through respecting and observing the legitimate rights of Iranian nation, we will witness fruitful talks between the two sides.”
On assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists, he said that Iran holds the western powers accountable to this issue.
He blamed the United Nations Security Council which had singled out Iranian nuclear scientists in the text of sanctions.
On arrest of two German nationals, he said it is up to the judiciary to examine the case.
On outcome of parliamentary election in Egypt, he said the case is the Egyptian internal matter but 'we hope all the Islamic countries play their key role in global developments.'
