MP advises G5+1 to adopt rational, logical approach in nuclear talks

Tehran, Dec 5, IRNA -- Member of Parliament's presiding board Hojatoleslam Hossein Sobhani-nia said on Sunday that the G5+1 should adopt rational and logical approach in nuclear talks and avoid politicizing the issue.
Speaking to IRNA, he said that national resolve is behind Iranian nuclear program and it will proceed under any circumstances in line with Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Sobhani-nia said that enrichment of uranium, peaceful use of nuclear energy are Iran’s legitimate rights enshrined by the NPT and have no room in talks with G5+1.
“We advise the G5+1 to avoid unfounded issues to help reach agreement on common issues,” he said.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has made clear its terms and conditions for resumption of talks with G5+1 which are based on respecting our principles, he said.
“We would find a common way to remove obstacles requiring rational approach of the G5+1 consistent with Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities,” he said.
Sobhani-nia said that after 15 months halt of negotiations, and imposing various UN sanctions and exerting pressures over Iran, the G5+1 finally reached the conclusion that resumption of talks with Iran would be the only option to resolve the issue.
