China welcomes resumption of talks between Iran, G5+1
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Beijing, Dec 3, IRNA -- Chinese government has welcomed resumption of new round of talks between Iran and G5+1, China’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Jiang Yu said here late Thursday.
Yu also criticized the latest set of sanctions, imposed unilaterally by the US and its allies against the Islamic Republic of Iran for its peaceful nuclear program.
He said China sees dialogue and discussion as the only viable approach to the Iranian nuclear issue, adding, “We welcome new talks as a positive development and at the same time, China opposes sanctions imposed beyond framework of the United Nations.”
