Iran calls on G5+1 for more interaction in nuclear talks

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Tehran, Oct 31, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry's spokesman Sunday suggested the Group 5+1 members to have 'more interaction' with Iran in order to reach a 'serious agreement' with the country on its nuclear issue.

Ramin Mehmanparast made the remark while visiting IRNA's stand in an ongoing Press Fair in the Iranian capital.

Commenting on the latest consultations made between Iran and the Western states about the next round of nuclear talks, the spokesman said, 'The two sides are in touch and if they show more interaction, we can reach a serious agreement about the issues which should be included in the agenda of this round of talks.'

Noting that Tehran believed the next round of talks would be 'good,' Mehmanparast said, 'However, the two sides should make more agreements about the time, venue and details of the talks.'

'Iran has repeatedly announced its readiness for talks,' said the spokesman stressing that the atmosphere of the talks should change from its 'previous aggressive' mode into a more 'constructive one with the cooperation of all countries.'
