MP urges Russia to deliver S-300 systems to Iran as already agreed

Tehran, Oct 10, IRNA -- Senior member of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) said Sunday that Russia should reconsider its behavior and deliver the S-300 systems to Iran based on an agreement balready reached etween the two countries.
Rapporteur of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Kazem Jalali urged the Iranian government to follow up through legal channels the case of the non-delivery of the S-300 systems to Iran by Russia.
He made the remarks while talking to reporters on the sidelines of a Majlis open session.
His remarks came after recent statements of Russian officials that Moscow was not to pay compesations to Iran for its failure to abide by its agreement with the country over delivery of the missile systems.
'The inappropriate performance of the Russian officials damages Iranians' trust in Russians,' Jalali said, advising Russian officials to reconsider their behavior towards Iran.
He stressed that Moscow should try to remove 'Iranians' distrust in Russians.'
