Iran President: World in dire need of new order

Tehran, Oct 6, IRNA -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that world is in dire need of new order and management based on justice, humanitarian spirit and respect.

President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in the inauguration ceremony of tenth Tehran International Industry Exhibition.

He said that every individual belongs to the entire humanity and the humanitarian values would be meaningful through communication with other people.

President Ahmadinejad said that development and progress of the international community is dependent on communication and interaction with one another.

The President underlined that this exhibition would play vital role in fostering cooperation, friendship and communication among nations.

Several Iranian high-ranking officials including Industry Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian, Minister of Commerce Mehdi Ghazanfari, several Tehran-based foreign ambassadors also attended the event.

Some 309 foreign companies from 25 countries including Turkey, Romania, China, Malaysia, Germany, France, Italy, UK, Spain, The Netherlands, Australia, Japan are participating in the four-day event.

Meanwhile, 475 Iranian companies are showcasing their capabilities in the exhibition.

Several industrial items including machinery, industrial hardware, technical and engineering services software, automations and specialized newsletters have been put on display during the event.

The tenth International Industry Exhibition will be wrapped up on October 9.
