Majlis vice-speaker criticizes IAEA new report on Iran
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Sept 8, IRNA -- Majlis Vice-Speaker Hojatoleslam Mohammad-Hassan Aboutorabi-Fard here on Wednesday urged the UN nuclear watchdog to issue a transparent and clear report on Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities.
Addressing the Majlis open session this morning, he stressed that the Iranian nation expects the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to defend the rights of the Iranian people and all freedom-lovers of the world by issuing a transparent and clear report.
He criticized the double-standard policy of the international body in its new report on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.
Aboutorabi-Fard reiterated that the Iranian nation moves within the framework of international rules and principles based on its legitimate rights regarding the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
The agency had previously announced the Islamic Republic of Iran’s transparency in its nuclear activities and asserted that the country had been committed to all the international body’s principles, he said, adding that the bullying system ruling the agency prevented the director general to issue a transparent report on Iran's atomic program.
