Salehi: August 21, a day to remember

Bushehr, Aug 21, IRNA -- Vice President Ali Akbar Salehi said August 21 was a day to remember in the fluctuating history of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
He made the remark while talking to reporters at the sidelines of the ceremony to mark the start of the fuel injection operations in Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant in southern Iran.
He said Iran appreciated the efforts of Russian government and nation as well as the chief of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation (Rosatom), Sergei Kiriyenko. He said by cooperating with Iran, Russia has managed to make an enduring name in Iran.
He said that Russia certainly helped Iran in entering the sphere of nuclear technology activities.
Salehi, who also heads Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization described as a big event of festivity for Iranian nation the start of fuel injection operations in the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
