Iran's enrichment program different from Bushehr power plant: MP
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Bushehr, Aug 17, IRNA -- Iran’s uranium enrichment program is different from procuring fuel for Bushehr power plant, said an MP here on Tuesday.
Talking to IRNA, Ayyoub Paperi-Moqaddam said that western countries have earlier shown that they are not committed to the deals they signed with Iran.
Germany as a country claiming to abide by law refused to fulfill its commitments following the victory of the Islamic Revolution 1979.
“Iran should produce 20,000 megawatts of nuclear power and this requires construction of 20 nuclear reactors,” he said.
Since no deal to that effect has been signed with any country, Iran should procure their fuel through reliance on its indigenous technology, Paperi-Moqaddam said.
