Salehi: Bushehr NPP to get fuel next week

Tehran, Aug 13, IRNA -- Head of Iran’s Atomic energy Organization, Ali Akbar Salehi, here on Friday gave a word of transfer of fuel to the main building and fuel loading to Bushehr nuclear power plant.

Talking to IRNA, he added, “We are getting ready to transfer fuel of Bushehr Power Plant to the pool located near the heart of reactor next week.”

He said the project will take seven to eight days.

Russian Rus Atom Company’s spokesman Sergei Novikov said in an interview with Itar Tas News Agency on Friday that it will load fuel into Iran's first nuclear power plant on August 21 next week.
