Air Force maneuver planned

Tehran, July 26, IRNA -- Army’s Air Force will hold its great maneuver involving tens of jetfighters from July 31-August 7, said deputy commander of the force here on Monday.
Talking to IRNA Monday, Brigadier Mohammad Alavi said that the war game will be held in Hamedan for a week.
All the countries' bases including Mehrabad, Tabriz, Hamedan, Dezful, Bushehr, Isfahan, Bandar Abbas and Shiraz will be participating in the exercise.
Some four unmanned Pahbad planes will be used in the maneuver for the first time for detecting operations, he said.
Stating that the war game will be conducted in four stages, Alavi noted that it aims to promote the combat capabilities of the pilots and showcase the strength of the Air Force.
