President: Names of other states joining nuclear talks to be announced soon
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, June 28, IRNA -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Monday that names of other countries besides the G5+1 with which Iran is ready to hold talks on its nuclear program will be announced at an appropriate time.
“By a group of states other than G5+1 that with which we are willing to hold talks we mean those states that believe in rule of justice on international relations,” said President Ahmadinejad in an address to a press conference here on Monday.
To a question on the 20 percent uranium enrichment in Iran, he said Iran needs 20 percent enriched uranium for its medical needs.
Noting that nuclear enrichment in Iran is limited to 20 percent, the president said such a level of enrichment is not much needed in Iran but in the medical sector.
Addressing a group of states claiming that they fear nuclear bombs, he said the countries claiming to fear the bombs, should go and defuse their own bombs stockpiled in other states because their own bombs are also in danger.
“We are ready for fuel swap based on Tehran Declaration as it covers all issues.”
