IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, June 22, IRNA -- Iran is to send separate protest letters to 12 members of the United Nations Security Council that have recently voted for the anti-Iran Resolution 1929, the Foreign Ministry spokesman said Tuesday.
“The letters are ready and will be sent to the related countries soon,” Ramin Mehman-Parast said at his weekly press conference.
The anti-Iran resolution was adopted on June 9 by a vote of 12 in favor to 2 against (Brazil, Turkey), and 1 abstention (Lebanon).
It was ratified under the severe pressures of the US and the Zionist lobby.
